I am receiving hundreds of spam email. Please fix or remove me from mailing list.
Chris AudanocmaudanoParticipantMy WordPress permalink settings are Post name. What is your upload path also on the WP-Filebase Pro Settings under “Common”?
cmaudanoParticipantI’m torn between if we need it and if you don’t need that option on. I guess it’s more of a training issue than anything because I don’t just want everybody creating categories. So far it’s okay so no issues.
cmaudanoParticipantI too received the same error after updating to the new version. Did you find a fix yet?

If it’s checked on files associated with a page will be displayed at the bottom of the page/post.

BTW, the only way that I can switch out a file is by using the “Browse” link under the attach file button. That’s a workaround.
ChriscmaudanoParticipantYes, I just sent an email to my content editors so they can add attachments. Thanks for the quick response.
cmaudanoParticipantUsing the Browser update did work to update files. I’ve never used that before so thank you for the option. I’ll await your update; thanks for your work on this plugin.
cmaudanoParticipantI have the same issue. Really, this is the reason why I went with this plugin and paid for the PRO version. Does anyone have a fix for updating a simple file? It doesn’t work in the back-end or through the post/page either. The only option I have is to delete the file and then upload a new file then add a link. (Not good.)
I updated to the latest plugin 3.2.04 today (01/13/15), but it still does not allow files to be updated. (I’m on WordPress 4.1)
cmaudanoParticipantSo if you go to a page/post and try to add a link using the file you added, can you see it within Filebase and if so, can you add it to the page/post and access it without issues? I normally don’t click on the “View File Page”, but when I did that on my system the link simply opens up a post with the default viewer.
My url is the same as yours, but without “blog”.
Do you have a cache plugin that could be causing the delay?
ChriscmaudanoParticipantI’ll try to help you out.
How are you adding the file to the page? Are you manually adding the link or do you have it automatically showing up on the page? - AuthorPosts
