Since 3.2.06, an aditional security check was added, that makes sure that the current user can actually read the post or page the form is embedded into.
If you place the shortcode outside the Post content (for example into a template), make sure to disable advanced security in the embedded forms settings.
FabianParticipantThe Add File/Category links are only shown if permission is granted. Hiding these will not necessarely prevent the user from creating categories, as they can do it through the backend. So if you set permissions right, the links will disappear.
However, I understand that it some cases it might be confusing to have the Add… Option on frontend and its easier to “mess” arround with categories. Will add an optionFabianParticipantWhats the result of the re-sync of WP-Filebase? Any messages?
FabianParticipantWhy would you like to turn this off? This is only displayed when you have the permission to upload a file or add a category.

FabianParticipantAre there any JS errors in your browsers console?
FabianParticipantCould you post the link of the site?
FabianParticipantCan you explain the issue details please?

are there any JS errors in the browsers console?
Access to your site would be very helpful. Please create a private ticket for this.
FabianParticipantI guess you tried the Batch Sync right? This should automatically continue after a timeout.
Try to enable RPC calls in Sync settings.
And if it still does not work Disable ID3 tag detection in Misc settings.
You should then sync and after this, if you need ID3 and advanced file info, enable it again.
Finally, run a Rescan from the tools section.FabianParticipantMake sure that hide in-accessible files is disabled in security settings. Thumbnails then should show up. Also you might have to clear your browser cache.
FabianParticipantThis seems to be caused by an incomplete update. Please re-upload all plugin files.

FabianParticipantPosts with file attachments should appear in search results as well as the file pages.
Run the “Fix File Pages” tool if file pages does not appear in results. Also make sure that search integration is enabled in WP-Filebase settings.FabianParticipantHas been fixed with 3.2.04
