Sync and Category Selection

I’ve been through the documentation and haven’t found a solution so this may be more of a feature request than a bug.

Rather than select each top level category to sync to S3, I’d like to set up sync only once. I tried creating a “Base” category and set it to not display, but then none of the subcategories display.

I’m trying to eliminate to need to set a sync instance for every top level category as that just creates a lot of extra work. Creating a Base category works, but that creates an unnecessary level on the front-end of the site and requires users to dig into an extra folder.
