Is it possible to retain the state of the filebrowser when the user opens a document ?
Example : the user is on a page containing a filebrowser. She unfolds a few folders and clicks on the link of a document, ex. a pdf file. The document is downloaded/opened in the same browser tab. After she’s done
with the document, the user clicks on her webbrowser’s back button and by doing so, comes back to the page with the filebrowser. But the filebrowser is back to its initial state.
It can become tiring to have to re-open all the treeview everytime. Hence the question : is it possible to retain the filebrowser’s state when coming back to the page it’s in ?
For now, we’ve settled it by modifying the file browser template to have a target=”_blank” attribute on the documents’ links in order to open them in a new tab. But if it’s possible to keep the browser’s state, that would be terrific.

target=”_blank” is currently the only option.
