    Any common miss-configuration – first things I should try to get the search function working?

    Posts with file attachments should appear in search results as well as the file pages.
    Run the “Fix File Pages” tool if file pages does not appear in results. Also make sure that search integration is enabled in WP-Filebase settings.

    Ok I think I have a general search problem so will look into that – but thanks for the quick reply 🙂
