Best way to Name Files for SEO

Hi, What would be the best way ( for SEO ) to name my files?

I would think this is the best: ?

File Name: company-financial-records-year-2013
File Title: Company Financial records for the Year 2013

Should be fine.
You also should submit the XML sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools, see //wpfilebase.com/how-tos/sitemap/

Hi Fabian,

Can you confirm that due to the use if XML sitemaps, that there is no harm in naming my files such as this:

Moonstone’s Financials & Reports for March 2013.pdf

( note the spaces and the apostrophe used )

This question was posted some time ago, and not listed under My Tickets, so I started a new one yesterday with extended questions.

Apostrophes should be avoided. Webmaster tools will notify you if there is somthing wrong with the Sitemap and its URLs, so don’t worry about it too much.

Setting the title during batch upload will be added with next update.
