After a server reconfiguration, can no longer upload files or see WP-Filebase ptions in our intranet installation. All it does is ask for the serial number, which is valid. Can you advise please? Thanks

      Does this issue still occur?

    FYI:
After todays update (March 8th – Version 0.3.0.04), I get the “WP-Filebase not active.” message when trying to insert a shortcode into a post (using the standard tinyMCE, WordPress 3.8.1).

I unchecked the option “Accept empty referrers” but I can still download without referrer normally. Is there anything I can do to block all no referrer downloads?

I am trailling the pro version using your online demo set up but I cannot get the indexing of meta keywords or the tilte of a PDF to work. When I search for the keywords, nothing happens, but they are definitely their alright in my PDF. Am I missing something, or can you show me an example of a PDF which does work as expected? Thanks.

      Hi,
on the demo server there is an old version of Ghostscript installed (Ghostscript version 8.71).
For proper PDF indexing at least 9.05 is required. Please check what version is running on your server.

    Great job with the plugin!

Small issue I ran into. Whenever I set the num= in the shortcode to be less than 10, it breaks the display and it ONLY display that amount and you can navigate to other pages or search for other files (besides the original number that loaded).

What do you think is causing this? Thanks !

I’m unable to activate, returning error: Activation failed: Your license key is already used. Please free a license slot by disabling another site. Note: If you have changed the site domain please switch back to the old domain and disable WP-Filebase Pro, then re-enable it on the new domain.

    Please advise

Concern with sort parameter. Running wpfilebase on WordPress 3.7.4 and files are sort by filedate in desc order. Short code used is
    [wpfilebase tag=list id=1 sort=">file_date" /]

Moved to different hosting site with WordPress 4.0 and files are not sorting anymore with same short code.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks.

Having the same issue as Jim with sorting. Will not sort descending order when set through the settings tab in the backend. When adding sort param to the shortcode:
      [wpfilebase tag=list id=2 pagenav=1 sort='>file_id' /]
It breaks and no files are displayed. Please advise.

Having the same issue, any help?

I can confirm I’m having the same sort issue as Jim above.

I’ve tried appending “?wpfb_file_sort=>file_date” to the url – which is how the columns sort (which still works if you click them manually) but this causes all sorts of other issues with page rendering (broken / invisible links)

    Please advise.

When I insert a shortcut for a filebrowser from a category with a couple of sub category’s the first category/folder wil not show it seems to be “hanging”.
Other catagory’s within this structure are working just fine.

Any idea if this is a bug or just a problem on my installation.
