There are some settings which could prevent the plugin from working properly with certain blog configuration and other plugins. Here’s a list with all critical options and their safe value. If you experience problems using WP-Filebase, you should set all options to the safe value. Then set the desired value of each option step-by-step while making sure the plugin still works properly. Issues with filebrowser

Uses jQuery plugins, so any plugins that replaces the jQuery can conflict
on iOs, filebrowser templates remove the a-tag!

    I have added the plugin to my website and have used a password protected page to hide the files but if the link is copied and shared anyone can download the file. How can I ensure only people who are logged into the page can download the files? Thanks!

    With WP-Filebase Pro active, there are many extra fields that appear when using WordPress Quick Edit on a post. The fields are named Name and Slug. The prblem only happens when WP-Filebase Pro is activated.

    I have been using WP Filebase for a while but today when I tried to upload new files and replaces the existing ones it kept giving “Error -200: HTTP Error.” I tried many times but I gave up. Thanks anyway but it needs to be fixed to be used.

    I am having problems when uploading multiple files through file browser.

    I get a popup with “HTTP ERROR”.
    I searhed on youh online help, so I looked for errors with chrome, so:

    On the console of Chrome I see:
    Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

    Is it a server problem or a plugin problem?
    When I close the popup the upload continues but the upload is very slow.
    What can I do to fix this?

    To fix a bug, I have been told to “overwrite” WP-FileBase Pro with a new version sent to me by the company.

    How do I do this: “overwrite” the old version with the new version, without losing my files and settings?

    I understand how to activate, deactivate and delete from the WordPress backend. But there is no option to “Overwrite”.

    Could someone please explain this to me? I have a lot of files and settings in WP-Filebase Pro and I do not want to lose them.

    Any help would be welcome…

      Deactivate the plugin, delete it (this is safe, just delte it), upload the new version using under Plugins / Add New / Upload plugin and activate again.

      During this process you’re settings and files stay untouched, you wont loose anything.

    File Sort, by file_date is sorting based in first number of date only, and not for a complete date. And this causes a wrong file sort. How to fix this?

      You’re not alone Adam. I think this whole thing is dead in the water. I’ve had support tickets open for months. and now I just found that the tables view doesn’t even work in EI. I’m actively looking for a solid replacement.
      also, the support forum isn’t working right. I can’t open any of my tickets. you?

    I am getting “Activation failed: Connection to license server failed. Make sure the server has an internet connection. If it is behind a proxy add the proxy configuration to wp-config.php. Please try again later or ask your hosting provider for details.” I have made no config changes. What is the address of the licence server? It will help me to debug this if I know this.

      We are having exactly the same issue. Was working fine then suddenly couldn’t activate. We have shared services from Heart Internet. How are we supposed to troubleshoot this with no further information.
