General about WP-Filebase
WP-Filebase’s file management
WP-Filebase uses a category/sub-category/file taxonomy. Each category can have multiple sub-categories (child categories) and files.
The file system is kept in sync with the category tree in the Database, e.g. each category has a folder containing the files and directories of all children (files and categories). This brings the advantage that you can easily add, modify or delete files directly on the file system, for example by FTP. WP-Filebase offers a function to synchronize the database with the file system, so file properties like size and hash sum get updated. (Never forget to sync after changing files with FTP!). See Sync.
Is it possible to get paid support for the WP-Filebase free version or is there paid support for the Pro version?
We are having an issue with a site running the free version where the subfolders for one of the categories will not show the content of those folders and I am at a lose on why. Can you suggest what is the best way to get help with this?

We are looking to implement a file management system on our internal website. We have run into problems with several other plugins due to us using an IIS server. Do you have any known issues with IIS servers?
The display of Statistics and Traffic on the right hand side of the page has been broken for a long time. Please provide a fix or some information. I have tried in 2 different browsers.
The Sync Filebase button no longer works. It generates an error. Do you still support the free version? I’m finding too many issues to pay $59 for the pro version.

Hello, I bought the Download Download exession along with filebase, the detail is that I have 3 pages in a menu, to be able to download files. only those that are registered, but it turns out that when I check in the section Download Log there are some downloads that say “Any User or Guests” and I do not find any option to be only registered. I’d appreciate it if you could tell me some observation. Thank you.

It appears that this great plugin has been abandoned. Fabian did respond to my comment above, from September. As it says, you can get the latest version at https://github.com/f4bsch/WP-Filebase, but that version has not been updated for at least 6 months now. It’s a real shame because this plugin is ideal for file download management, especially if you have a lot of files. There is still nothing that compares to it.
YES! Very disappointing, it is a great product but I can no longer use it!
I currently work with the WP-filebase free version. Now I need to have a notification e-mail send to my users whenever I upload a new file. Is this possible?
Or is it possible with the pro version?
