WP-Filebase adds a menu to the Admin Bar visible on top of every front-end page.
You can quickly run a sync or manage the attachments of the current post/page. If the Context Menu is enabled, you can right click on any download link to edit the file.
If you don’t want the WP-Filebase entry in the Admin Bar, uncheck: WP Filebase -> Settings -> Misc -> Add WP-Filebase to admin menu bar
When the Admin Bar is visible on every front-end page, is the safest repeatable workflow to run a sync from the current post/page before editing its attachments? In my meeting-recording workflow, Video To Text keeps timestamps and speaker labels editable, which is more dependable than passing raw files between screens. If the context menu is enabled, pairing that quick edit path with the sync action seems especially practical; the current-post/page focus is the part I would want to preserve.
Putting sync and current-post attachment controls in the Admin Bar is faster than opening a separate settings screen, but it also makes maintenance actions more visible everywhere. Is that convenience worth the extra global clutter?
